《禮記》曰：君子不盡人之歡，不竭人之忠，以全交。 又曰：君子之交淡如水，小人之交甘如醴。君子淡以成，小人甘以壞。 又曰：儒有合志同方，營道同求；并立則樂，相下不厭；久不相見，聞流言不信。義同而進，不同而退。其交友有如此者。同方、同求，志行也。聞流言不信，不信其友所行，被毀而謗之。 又曰：隨武子利其君子忘其身，忘其身不遺其友。 又曰：父母在，不許友以死。 又曰：寡婦之子，不有見焉，弗與為友。 又曰：見父之執友，不謂之進，不敢進。 又曰：子夏曰：「吾離群而索居，亦已久矣。」 又曰：僚友，稱其弟也；執友，稱其仁也；交游，稱其信也。 |
