郁離子曰：「小人其猶膏乎？觀其皎而澤，瑩而媚，若可親也。忽然染之則膩，不可濯矣。故小人之未得志也，尾尾焉；一朝而得志也，岸岸焉。尾尾以求之，岸岸以居之，見於聲，形於色，欲人之知也如弗及。是故君子疾夫尾尾者。」
