222  | 張圓，字直之，河南偃師人。有吏才。為河中府法曹㕘軍，攝虞鄉令，有能名，遂署河東從事，又攝絳州事。元和四年，有事適東方，卒於汴。友人韓愈為作《墓碣銘》。李絳，字深之，趙郡贊皇人。第進士。元和中，為翰林學士。烏重𦙍縛，盧從史吐突承璀牒署昭義，拜中書侍郎、同平章事，留後。絳曰：「澤、潞據山東要害，邢、洺跨兩河間，可制其合従。今孽豎就擒，方收威柄，遽以偏將涖本軍，綱紀大紊矣。河南、北諸鎮，謂啗以官爵，使逐其帥，其肯黙然哉？宜以孟元陽為澤潞，而以重𦙍節度三城，兩河諸侯聞之必欣然」。上從之。尋以足疾求免。十四年，檢校吏部尚書、河中觀察使。河中故節制，而皇甫鎛惡絳，薄其恩，議者不直。鎛得罪，復召為兵部尚書，累遷檢校司空、節度山南西道，軍亂遇害，諡曰貞。絳在華州，嘗請罷捕鷂戶，詔并澤、潞、太原、天威府罷之。 |
