66  | 庚戌，上御棃園毬場，程大昌曰：棃園在光化門北。光化門者，禁苑南面西頭第一門，在芳林、景曜門之西也。中宗令學士自芳林門入，集於棃園，分朋拔河；則棃園在太極宮西，禁苑之內矣。開元二年，玄宗置教坊於蓬萊宮，上自教法曲，謂之棃園弟子。至天寶中，即東宮置宜春北苑，命宮女數百人為棃園弟子即是。棃園者按樂之地，而預教者名為弟子耳。凡蓬萊宮、宜春院，皆不在棃園之內也。命文武三品以上拋毬及分朋拔河，韋巨源、唐休璟衰老，隨絚踣地，絚，古登翻。踣，蒲北翻。久之不能興；上及皇后、妃、主臨觀，大笑。 |
