1  | 元陶凱撰。凱字中元，江都人。以至正七年丁亥鄉試榜授永豐教諭。適永豐令辜中受代去，縣之父老子弟願以中善政刻諸石。凱因序中政績，為此書，以《贈言》、《學記》等篇附焉。 |
| 1 | 明洪武初奉敕撰。案《千頃堂書目》曰，太祖嘗命禮部尚書陶凱等採錄漢、唐以下藩王善惡以為鑒戒，編輯未竟，複詔秦王傅文原吉、翰林編修王僎、國子博士李叔元、助教朱複、錄事蔣子傑等續修之洪武六年書成太子贊善宋濂為序，即此編也。然虞稷稱其書五卷，又稱一作二卷，此本十一卷，而善可為法止於元，其後有先善後惡一門，而惡可為戒僅止於宋，似尚闕一卷。不知虞稷何以云然也。 |
