十月辛酉，吐蕃回紇至奉天，邠志曰：八月，懐恩以諸戎入冦，九月，詔郭公討之，師于涇陽。回紇屯涇北，去戎十里，朝恩請擊回紇，郭公曰：我昔與回紇情契頗至，今兹為冦，必將有故，吾方導而問之，可不戰而下也。朝恩流言，謂郭公與懐恩為應，隂率諸軍列營渭上，郭公章䟽逾旬不達，郭氏諸子在長安聞之，使小將強羽以物議告郭公，郭公間道入覲，且以衆議聞。上曰：良是。即日令赴涇陽，朝恩驚曰：郭公眞長者，吾比疑之，誠小人也」。按回紇九月未至涇陽，十月辛酉始至奉天，丙寅圍涇陽，丁卯子儀已與之盟，首尾纔七日，豈容有章疏逾旬不達之事！子儀為元帥，與強敵對壘，豈可棄軍入朝！汾陽家傳，此際亦無入朝事，今不取。
