建安中，曹操北讨柳城，过涿郡，魏志曰，建安十二年，操北征乌桓，涉鲜卑，讨柳城，登白狼山也。告守令曰：「故北中郎将卢植，名著海内，学为儒宗，士之楷模，国之桢干也。昔武王入殷，封商容之闾；郑丧子产，仲尼陨涕。左传曰：「仲尼闻子产死，出涕曰：『古之遗爱也。』」孤到此州，嘉其馀风。春秋之义，贤者之后，宜有殊礼。公羊传曰：「君子之善善也长，恶恶也短。恶恶止其身，善善及子孙。贤者子孙，故君子为之讳也。」亟遣丞掾除其坟墓，亟，急也。存其子孙，并致薄醊，醊，祭酹也。音张芮反。以彰厥德。」子毓，知名。魏志曰：「毓字子家，十岁而孤，以学行称，仕魏至侍中、吏部尚书。时举中书郎，诏曰：『得其人与不，在卢生耳。选举莫取有名，如画地为饼，不可啖也。』毓对曰：『名不足以致异人，而可以得常士。常士畏敎慕善，然后有名也。』」
