13  | 希哲作文，雜處眾賓之間，嘩笑譚辨，飲射博弈，未嘗少異。操觚而求者，戶外之廳常滿。不見其有沉思默構之態，連揮數篇，書必異體。文出豐縟精潔，隱顯抑揚，變化樞機，神鬼莫測，而卒皆歸於正道，真高出古人者也。自著有《蠶衣》、《浮物》、《心影》、《吳材小纂》、《南游錄》等書，共佰餘卷。所尊而援引者《五經》、孔氏：所喜者左氏、莊生、班、馬數子而已。下視歐、曾諸公，蔑然也。余聞評之曰：「秦、漢之文，濂、洛之理。」自謂頗當。希哲方二十九歲，他日庸可量乎！ |
