106  | 自有诗以来，求其尽一代之人，取古人之诗之气体声辞篇章字句，节节摩仿而不容纤毫自致其性情，盖未有如前明者。国初诸老，尚多沿袭。独横山起而力破之，作原诗内外篇，尽扫古今盛衰正变之肤说，而极论不可明言之理与不可明言之情与事，必欲自具胸襟，不徒求诸诗之中而止。然其所谓不可明言者，亦卒归于不可言；其言者，皆可言者也。后之学诗者，返求诸性情学术，毋执其可言者，以为不可言者即在于是，庶上可与古人冥合，而下无负作者之盛心欤！癸卯冬日吴江沈楙悳识。 |
