17  | 有旨採輯本朝典故，仿唐、宋《會要》，修《經世大典》，命集與中書平章政事趙世延同任總裁。集言：「禮部尚書馬祖常，多聞舊章，國子司業楊宗瑞，素有歷像地理記問度數之學，可共領典；翰林修撰謝端、應奉蘇天爵、太常李好文、國子助教陳旅、前詹事院照磨宋纟茲、通事舍人王士點，俱有見聞，可助撰錄。庶幾是書早成。」帝以嘗命修遼、金、宋三史，未見成績，《大典》令閣學士專率其屬為之。既而以累朝故事有未備者，請以翰林國史院修祖宗實錄時百司所具事蹟參訂。翰林院臣言於帝曰：「實錄，法不得傳於外，則事蹟亦不當示人。」又請以國書《脫卜赤顏》增修太祖以來事蹟，承旨塔失海牙曰：「《脫卜赤顏》非可令外人傳者。」遂皆已。俄世延歸，集專領其事，再閱歲，書乃成，凡八百帙。既上進，以目疾丐解職，不允，乃舉治書侍御史馬祖常自代，不報。 |
