15  | 𤣥攝提格，其月白余氣清，候沖，鮮飈襲衣虛幌生白而走也。獨居有美蔡君龍淵之湄，容儀偘偘，言辭熙熙，不觀其行心，已必其有為，詢之儒紳，僉曰：韙哉！是夫也！良使民馴㠯綏創，傷未平，摩而嬰之，流逋未復，宇而寧之，征賦方繁，均而則之。妖魃害稼，祠而斥之，吏有所程，氓有所依，自此而升，其誰曰不？宜世有恒言虎豹師師，據山之厜，而百獸辟易者，則以其威鷹鸇襹襹游林之隈，而衆烏讋服者其力之施。當世變俗，移愈嚚而漓，方將峻法以繩其奸，而寛緩是務，何言之迂？嗚呼！噫嘻！民其殆而物之生也。每閼秀於冬霜之慘，而甲拆於三春之暉雉，安粰粥麥秀兩岐，較之殘民以逞而傷天和者，又孰是而孰非不有伊人其阽于危。徵吾蔡君之事，而感慨於斯曰：牛老生援毫引辭以白其勤，以揚其輝，以播於時。知之者，謂足為在位者之戒。不知者以為可怒可愕而詆余文之尚竒。 |
