| 2 | 臣等謹案《名疑》四卷，明陳士元撰。是書上自三皇，下迄元代，博採史傳及百家襍說，凡古人姓名之異字及更名更字與同姓名者，皆彚萃之。其所徵引，較之各姓氏書，頗為詳備。如洞神部載三皇姓名，列仙傳稱介子推姓王名光之類，皆指其謬。又據《史記佞幸傳》，辨朱建傳誤閎孺為閎籍孺，據顔延之誄辨，陶徴士本名淵，明字元亮，皆為確鑿。然以司馬遷諱談為同，謂談一音同，以童烏為揚雄小字，又謂雄本姓楊字訛為揚字之類，訛誤者亦復不少。又神仙●怪之名，如呉剛、姮娥、豐隆、屏翳、神荼、欝壘等皆詳載之，體例頗為冗襍，又不著所出，不盡可以徵信。特其採摭繁富，頗有足資参證者，固不妨存以備考焉。乾隆四十六年閏五月恭校上。 |
