《序》
2  | 东吴王生誉昌，以其所撰《崇祯宫词》上下二卷，介其友薛生熙嘱草泽臣大均为之序言。大均盥手焚香而展读之，而知王生用意之忠厚恻怛，得古诗人之旨焉。古人以宫词之作譬之，山人不能扬舲，海人不能骤骥，以所处之地既非，则言之不能无病也。今王生以穷巷席门之子，述之于五十年之后，自御极以至升遐，为诗一百八十六首，其中考据之详、摹写之工，乐而止于不淫。所以述烈皇帝之德也，哀而至于甚伤；所以述烈皇帝之遇也，使人正襟以庄诵。反袂而卒业，盖寓黍离之旨于关雎之化之中，略无靡曼噍杀之病，以见废兴存亡之由于天，而烈皇帝亦顺受其正而已，何恨之有也哉？ |
