1  | 𠹉聞吴人刘大参，素號慱斈，有斵工問㔼音損夘字，公随口以木夘為㔼答之。坐客以指𡱮几曰：「栁字也。」哄然一笑。吾杭先輩夏大卿，僚友問以氽字音吞上聲，公戯以水傍加去字是也。其友認以為真，後思其欺己也，遽曰：「少年見有《大乗妙汆蓮花經》。」亦同哄然。至今傳為笑柄。今按《海篇直音》「㔼」字下註「剡木入竅曰㔼」，甚為明白。而《字林撮要》又曰：人在水上為氽，人在水下為溺。似皆有證也。然予考之《說文》、《韻會》等書，俱無二字，恐乃有音無文者也。雖有證，或亦俗書耳。 |
