《第一回春王怒究葡萄酒 文柬巧设胭脂计》
6  | 自古一朝帝王，尤百世不救之基。其兴也有自来，其衰也有所为。周家卜年八百，后稷肇基，卜世三十，幽厉作俑，平王东迁。而后王室衰微，孺葛一战，祝袡犯驾，列国胥效。不臣至叔带召我迨后世风愈下，列国争衡，以强凌弱，以大吞小，遂成𢧐囯。当下七雄并出，势力均分。那七国，即齐、楚、秦、燕、韩、赵、魏是也。其时，并驱中原，争战不息。就中先表齐国，乃陈敬仲之后，食彩于田，是为田氏，即以氏为姓。自敬仲，厚施于国，民心爱戴。及至田和，始并全齐。周威列王册命为诸侯，建都临淄。齐恃地大兵强，富甲天下，数传而后至于田午，僭号称王，是为齐春王。那田午，礼贤下士，素有英名，册立邹氏王后，其子为东宫太子。后父文柬，所生男女四人，长邹刚，次邹谏，三即邹后，幼四尚在闺中未醮。惟文柬，虽为国丈，当权秉政，妒贤嫉能，奸滑成性，向与正人不睦，此下慢表。 |
