88  | 稽古之力王逥質，開元十年，拜集賢院學士，仍侍讀，迴質山東宿儒，褐衣召拜，既入侍讀，仍令侍皇太子讀書，及夀王通《孝經》，賜束帛酒饌及床褥衣被等，令逥質坐床上，羅列所賜物，金吾奉歸其家，里巷觀者如堵，家人入門，歡、●皆歎曰：「稽古之力，信不虛也！」獻《龍樓箴》：順宗為太子，歸崇敬，與登父子侍讀。及即位，復為皇太子、諸王侍讀，獻《龍樓箴》以諷戲言取悅韋。綬字子章。元和中，充太子諸王侍讀。時穆宗在東宮，方幼好戲，綬講書之隟，頗以朝誚恱之。嘗密齎家所造食，入宫餉太子，憲宗嘗召對，綬奏曰：「太子學書至依字，輒去旁人。臣問之，太子云：君父以此字可天下奏事，臣子不合全書」。上益嘉太子之賢，賜綵錦綬，無威儀，時以人問鄙說戲言以取悅太子。太子因入侍道綬語，憲宗不悅，謂侍臣曰：「凡侍讀者，當以經義輔導太子，納之䡄物，而綬語及此，予何望耶？」乃罷侍讀，出為䖍州刺史。穆宗即位，以師友之恩，召為尚書右丞、兼集賢院學士，甚承恩顧，出入禁中。劉納言：乾封中，歴都水監主簿，以《漢書》授沛王賢，及賢為太子皇，累遷太子洗馬，兼充侍讀，常撰《詼諧集》十五卷以進太子，及賢廢，髙宗見而怒之曰：「劉納言自府入內，久淹嵗月，朝遊夕處，竟無匡贊，闕忠孝之良規，進詼諧之鄙說，儲宮敗徳，抑有所由，配流振州而死。 |
