5  | 戴珊，字廷珍，江西浮梁人也。天順甲申進士，授御史。督學南畿，品藻精明，以文藝占器識。其最所賞譽者，大學士王鏊也。遷陜西按察副使，仍專學政曆。陞都察院副都御史，撫治鄖陽，進左都御史，益振風紀。孝皇勵精，親鞫大獄，諸司悚震。珊從容開析，特受知眷。每召問政事，移晷方出。累疏告老，優詔勉留，卒。贈太子太保，謚恭簡。 論曰：世稱浮梁，戴公知人，每試士閱文辭，即知其人心術噐識。至年命脩短，位秩崇卑，十不失一。及踐上卿，秉憲貞度，正已格物，遭孝皇殊顧得行所學卓為名卿，與簡肅嫓美矣。 |
