83  | ○辛丑，上朝罢退坐东阁，召诸武臣问之曰：「尔等退朝之暇，所务者何事？所接者何人？亦尝亲近儒生乎？往在战阵之间，提兵御敌以勇敢为先，以战斗为能，以必胜为功。今居闲无事，勇力无所施，当与诸生讲求古之名将成功立业之后，事君有道、持身有礼、谦恭不伐、能保全其功名者，何人骄淫奢侈、暴横不法、不能保全始终者，何人常以此为监戒，择其善者而从之，则可与古之贤将并矣。」 |
