初，濟熿既構陷濟熺，幽其父子空室中，蔬食不給。恭王、宮中老媪走訴成祖，乃即獄中召晉府故承奉左微問之，盡得濟熿構濟熺狀，立命微馳召濟熺父子，濟熺幽已十年。左微者，故因濟熺牽連繋獄，或傳微死已久。及至，一府大驚。微入空室，釋濟熺父子，相持大慟。時成祖北征，謁行在所，帝見濟熺病惻然，封美圭平陽王，使奉父居平陽，畀以恭王故田。㑹帝崩，濟熿靳不與。仁宗連以書諭，卒不聴。又聞朝廷賜濟熺王者冠服及他賚予，益怨望。成祖、仁宗之崩，不為服，使寺人代臨，幕中廣致妖巫為詛咒，不輟。帝即位，齊熿宻遣人結高煦謀不軌，寧化王濟煥告變。比擒高煦，又得濟熿交通書，帝未之問。而濟熿所遣使高煦人懼罪，走京師自首。內使劉信等告濟熿擅取屯糧，欲應高煦，并發宮中詛咒事。濟煥亦始知謫母被弑，馳奏。帝遣人察之，皆實，乃免為庶人。幽之、鳯陽同謀官屬及諸巫皆論死質實恭王故田在連伯灘，成祖與美圭、濟熿久不與，仁宗諭之，不從，羙圭言連伯灘地𨽻平陽，不𨽻太原，仁宗遣人視灘，果𨽻平陽，又書諭濟熿，卒不與。

帝年三十，胡皇后未有子，又善病，而孫貴妃有寵，乃隂取宮人子為已子，帝以長子生，大喜，寵貴妃有加，詔大赦天下，免明年稅糧三分之一。質實，孫貴妃，鄒平人，幼育宮中有羙色永城縣主簿孫忠之女，帝即位，立為貴妃。故事，皇后金寳金册，貴妃以下有册無寳。宣徳元年五月，帝請于太后，製金寳賜焉。貴妃有寳自此始。
