白十頭白獏似熊，十頭，髀黒腳，白能食蛇，銅鐡及竹骨，節節彊直，中實少髓。皮，辟溫也。孔賜貘皮，薛萬均卒後，嘗賜羣臣貘皮及萬徹而誤呼，萬均愴然曰：「萬均朕勲舊，怱口其名，豈死者有知，冀此賜乎！」因命取焚之。寢其皮辟，溫圖其形辟邪？白居易貘屏賛序曰：貘者，象鼻犀目，牛尾虎足生南方，山谷中，寢其皮，辟溫圖其形辟邪？賛邈哉竒獸生于南國，其名曰貘，非鐡不食。白豹郭知𤣥韻：食鐡獸似熊，黃黒色，一曰白豹。
