《第六卷》
1  | 拔河，古謂之牽鉤。襄漢風俗，常以正旦望日為之。相傳楚將伐吳，以為教戰。梁簡文臨雍部，禁之而不能絕。古用蔑纜，今民則以大麻糹亙，長四五十丈，兩頭分繫小索數百條，掛於前。分二朋，兩朋齊挽。當大糹亙之中，立大旗為界，震鼓叫噪，使相牽引。以卻者為勝，就者為輸，名曰拔河。中宗時，曾以清明日御梨園球場，命侍臣為拔河之戲。時宰相、二駙馬為東朋，三宰相、五將軍為西朋。東用貴人多，西朋奏勝不平，請重定，不為改，西朋竟輸。僕射韋巨源、少師康休璟年老，隨糹亙而踣，久不能興。上大笑，左右扶起。玄宗數御樓，設此戲，挽者至千餘人，喧呼動地。蕃客士庶觀者，莫不震駭。進士河東薛勝為《拔河賦》。其詞甚美，時人兢傳之。 |
