57  | 《傳》云：玄，黑繒；縞，白繒；纖，細也。纖在中，則二物皆當細。渭按：《荊州》「雲土夢作乂」。蘇氏說云：雲、夢，二土名，而云「雲土夢」者，古語如此。猶曰玄纖縞云爾。此依《孔傳》立義，謂以「土」字關上下，猶以「纖」字關上下也。然文勢終覺不順。曾彥和云：先儒以黑經白緯為纖。徐州之篚，玄也、纖也、縞也，凡三物。釋者以玄縞為二物，誤矣。渭按：《說文》：繒，帛也。《漢書》灌嬰販繒。《注》云：繒者，帛之總名。則無論疏密厚薄，皆可稱繒。《傳》云「黑繒、白繒」，未失也。但玄纖連讀，不當以「纖」字關上下耳。鄭康成《禮記注》：白經赤緯曰縞，黑經白緯曰纖。蓋當時別有此一種，織作為祥禫之服，它書所稱纖縞，非必盡然也。曾氏據此以釋《禹貢》，曰纖縞皆去凶即吉之服。夫祥而縞、衤覃而纖，三年之喪，變除之節次也。使貢篚專為此設，是歲歲豫凶事矣。有是理乎？參考諸家，總不如顏說之當。 |
