131  | 英海部驗收雷艇章程：於水置浮樁，岸置木表，相隔一邁之遠。將船裝滿臨陣時應需物件，然後艇走兩樁間，順流逆潮各走三匝。岸上木表各置一人，記明時刻。如是合法之後，仍須開洋，滿汽逕駛三點鐘，以水程表計算若干邁。前後所得之數，每點鐘均不得少原約二十六英邁或二十二英海里。倘驗收不及此數，可將原艇退還。試驗北洋所造雷艇，每點鐘行二十三海里八八二，合英國二十七里半。又照二點鐘久行試驗，每點鐘行二十二海里九四零，合英國二十六里又十分之四。又將該艇駛入船塢，用木架起，拆驗船殼內外船身船底及輪機鍋爐，均無瑕疵。 |
| 134 | 曾侯派員考究造船之法，先詣抱士穆斯海口，次由卜利門司至里次暨紐卡塞爾海口各廠，詢訪情形。知英國造船大廠二十餘處，有專精機器者，有專製鋼料船壳者，有講求燒煤鍊鐵者，有專製爐火礮彈、集上等物料者，皆係承造國家船械之廠，分門別類製造。一船必須分購各廠材料，及原廠匠人經手承辦，始能成功。惟造船壳及礮，則推阿模士莊為最。 |
