13  | 停一會，荷生道：「清興如此，何不小飲？」遂叫人擺席。癡珠首坐，次紫滄，次小岑，次劍秋，荷生一人打橫上坐，秋痕、采秋兩人打橫下坐。今日酒餚、器皿，件件是并州不經見的。七人慢慢的淺斟緩酌，雄辯高談，觥籌交錯，履舄往來，極盡雅集之樂。已而玉山半頹，海棠欲睡。也有閒步的，也有散坐的，也有向船室中倚炕高臥的。 |
| 34 | 荷生因說道：「今日樂極，大家何不吟一道即事詩，以紀雅集？」癡珠道：「我們聯句吧。」紫滄道：「古體呢，進體？」采秋道：「進體沒趣，還是古體吧。」劍秋道：「即事也覺無味，不如聯一道《夢遊仙曲》。」荷生道：「好！也不要敘次，有的便寫出來。我就起句，借重秋痕作個書手。」便喚小丫鬟預備筆硯箋紙。 |
