34  | 齊涽王既取燕滅未遂伐趙侵魏南惡楚西絕蠢交示威諸侯以求為帝平原君問於魯仲連曰齊其成乎魯仲連笑曰成哉臣竊悲其為象虎也平原君曰何謂也魯仲連曰臣聞楚人有患狐者多方以捕之弗獲或教之曰虎山獸之雄也天下之獸見之咸讋而亡其神伏而俟命乃使作象虎取虎皮蒙之出於牗下狐入遇焉啼而踣他日豕暴於其田乃使伏象虎而使其子以戈綺諸衢田者呼豕逸於莽遇象虎而反奔衢獲焉楚人大喜以象虎為可以皆服天下之獸矣於是野有如馬被象虎以趨之人或止之曰是駁也直虎且不能當往且敗弗聽馬雷呴而剘攫而噬之顱磔而死今齊實象虎而燕與宋狐與豕也弗戒諸俟其無駁乎明年望諸君以諸侯之師入齊涽王為淖齒所殺 |
