74  | 八音四曰革。革，鼓也，鞉也，節也。大曰鼓，小曰朄，又曰應。應劭《風俗通》曰：「不知誰所造。」以桴擊之曰鼓，以手搖之曰鞉。鼓及鞉之八面者曰雷鼓、雷鞉；六面者曰靈鼓、靈鞉；四面者曰路鼓、路鞉。《周禮》：「以雷鼓祀天神，以靈鼓鼓社祭，以路鼓致鬼享。」鼓長八尺者曰鼖鼓，以鼓軍事。長丈二尺者曰鼛鼓，凡守備及役事則鼓之。今世謂之下鼜。鼜，《周禮》音戚，今世音切豉反。 |
