14  | 余旅㳺於塞，投野寺而托宿，謂暗室之偪隘，乃露處而秉燭。二三童子，若驂若服。時維仲夏，百物繁生。惟坱圠之潛動，與圓榘之賦形。若絡緯之夜織，若熠燿之宵征。若蛙部之鼓吹，若蚊陣之軍聲。蚓竅初啓，鶴棲復驚，彼淒清而嘹唳，皆助予之苦吟。蕞爾飛蟲，曷來繩繩。短喙燦粉，巨翅搖金。倐多倐少，或夥或零。有知無知，有情無情。豈暗投之弗白，及覆照之未明。爭借輝以叢集，徑如燬而迴縈，非上下之火鼠，及往來之青蠅，焰焰所燎，薨薨而傾，余將以為無幸，少間鼓翅而復升。又以為焦爍之不可當，必逺向菌木而自藏。尋復振羽，何異探湯，微者或一再而繚繞，鉅者則旋轉而徬徨，胥糜爛於鏖戰，不知曽為燎之所戕。盡爾族黨，至已斯亡。俄頃瞬息，折堲無光，浮盆盂為鼎鑊，沈膏脂如豆觴。寧趨熱而速斃，不就涼而延長。豈薫之有馥而煨之為芳？甘蹈火而俱焚，以篝燈為崑岡？嗟夫物之外蔽，故昧死以趨炎。乃人之內熱，孰不如彼之𤏖𤏖。嗜義易厭，嗜利彌堅，或因難而止，或中道而遷，奉首幸免，蔑理茍全。方寸之慾勝，則七尺其何慳。旦夕之謀，遂則百歳其可捐？貿貿汩汩，蟲何辨焉？故有感於物物，用告乎元元。惟隨日月之照臨，而保天年於自然。 |
