城池、宣化府城周二十四里有竒門七：東曰定安，西曰泰新，南曰昌平、曰宣徳、曰承安，北曰廣靈、曰髙逺。明洪武二十七年，因舊城展築，建文元年，塞宣徳、承安、髙逺三門，正統五年甃甎，本朝康熈十五年及乾隆元年，屢經 修築，二十一年重修，添建月城、赤城縣城本赤城堡，明宣徳五年築，周三里有竒門二， 本朝乾隆六年重修、萬全縣城周六里三十步，門三池，廣二丈，明洪武二十六年始築甎堡，永樂二年改築龍門縣城周四里五十三，步門二，明宣徳六年築、懐來縣城周七里，有竒東西南三門，遶城為濠，東北倚山，明永樂二十年築，正統、景泰間甃甎 ，本朝乾隆五年修築蔚州城周七里有竒門三，明洪武七年石築、西寧縣城周四里十三步門四，明天順四年築， 本朝康熈十一年重修。懐安縣城周九里三十步，門四，西南北三面有濠，廣丈八尺，明洪武二十五年甎築 ，本朝乾隆三十一年動帑興修。、延慶州城周四里有竒。東、西、南三門，濠廣三丈，明景泰三年因故址修，萬歴七年展築修。本朝乾隆十二年重。保安州城周四里有竒門，四濠廣二丈二尺，明永樂十三年甎築。
