8  | 诏委以规画，乃度马殷营垒故基，起盖砦栅，招步军二千人，马军五百人，傔人在外，战马铁甲皆备。先以缗钱五万于广西买马五百匹，诏广西安抚司岁带买三十匹。时枢府有不乐之者，数沮挠之，弃疾行愈力，卒不能夺。经度费钜万计，弃疾善斡旋，事皆立办。议者以聚敛闻，降御前金字牌，俾日下住罢。弃疾受而藏之，出责监办者，期一月飞虎营栅成，违坐军制。如期落成，开陈本末，绘图缴进，上遂释然，时秋霖几月，所司言造瓦不易，问：「须瓦几何？」曰：「二十万。」弃疾曰：「勿忧。」令厢官自官舍、神祠外，应居民家取沟𭅞瓦二，不二日皆具，僚属叹伏。军成，雄镇一方，为江上诸军之冠。 |
