《江表傳》曰：孫權於武昌新裝大船，名為長安。 又曰：孫權乘飛云大船，與張昭、魯肅等共追送敘別吳。 又曰：周瑜破魏軍，曹公復書與權曰：「赤壁之役，值有疾疫，孤燒船自退，橫使周瑜虛獲此名。」 又曰：劉備進駐鄂縣之樊口，諸葛詣吳未還，聞曹公軍下，恐懼，日遣邏吏於水次候權軍。吏望見周瑜船，馳還白備。備曰：「何以知非青徐軍耶？」吏對曰：「以船知之。」備遣人慰勞瑜，瑜曰：「有軍任，不得委署。儻能屈威，副其所望。」備謂張飛、關羽曰：「彼欲致我，今自托於東而不往，非同盟之意也。」乃乘單舸，往見瑜。問曰：「今距曹氏，深為得計！戰卒有幾？」瑜曰：「此自足用豫州，但觀瑜破之！」 |
