争：〔古文〕𠫩𠄙《唐韵》侧茎切《集韵》甾耕切，𠀤音筝。《说文》引也。从𠬪。《徐铉曰》音曳。𠬪二手而曳之，争之道也。《广韵》竞也。《书·大禹谟》汝惟不矜，天下莫与汝争能。汝惟不伐，天下莫与汝争功。又《玉篇》谏也。又讼也。《增韵》理也，辨也。《礼·曲礼》分争辨讼，非礼不决。又姓。《正字通》印薮有争不识，争同。又《集韵》侧逬切，筝去声。义同。又《广韵》本作诤，谏诤也，止也。《孝经·谏诤章》天子有争臣七人。《韵会》俗作争，非。
