| 發言者：zifang (子方) | I would rather suggest that the 【人】 here should be understood as "other people", not the【君子】himself, and the real subject of the whole sentence is actually omitted! So there would be no need to comprehend this with a sense of passive voice. We should keep in mind that omissions of this and that are quite common in ancient Chinese.
