| Posted by: deqingli (Paul) | "器"是祭祀時用的裝飾或擺設。廟裏只有兩件事，一是神（或事或禮）二是器（禮器或貢品），簡單說孔子的意思就是：君子務的應是前者(神、事或禮)，而不是後者(禮器、裝飾或手段、途徑等)。「君子務禮（神）不務器。」應該是孔子「君子不器」的完整含意。子曰：「賜也，爾愛其羊，我愛其禮。」孔子的意思是「你愛其表（器或物質），我愛其裏（禮或精神）。」這也解釋孔子對子貢說的另一句「女器也。」（你好器呀）。所以「君子不器」也就是「君子（務禮）不務器」。這個道理對於君子很是簡單，對小人則難以理解。所以李零有個非常靠譜的比喻：「器是用来载道的。君子追求的是道，不是器，就像人吃的是饭，不是饭碗。」這樣一來（喻于利：即君子務飯不務碗），不但小人能理解了，甚至飯桶們也能明白哪裏是關鍵了。 |
