临祭不惰。When taking part in a sacrifice, one should not show indifference.
祭服敝则焚之，When sacrificial robes are worn out, they should be burnt:
祭器敝则埋之， sacrificial vessels in the same condition should be buried,
龟策敝则埋之， as should the tortoise-shell and divining stalks,
牲死则埋之。 and a victim that has died.
凡祭于公者，All who take part with the ruler in a sacrifice
必自彻其俎。 must themselves remove the stands (of their offerings).
