時邁其邦、Now is he making a progress through the States,
昊天其子之。May Heaven accept him as its Son!
實右序有周。Truly are the honour and succession come from it to the House of Zhou.
薄言震之、To his movements,
莫不震疊。All respond with tremulous awe.
懷柔百神、He has attracted and given rest to all spiritual Beings,
及河喬嶽。Even to [the Spirits of] the He, and the highest hills.
允王維后。Truly is the king the sovereign Lord.
明昭有周、Brilliant and illustrious is the House of Zhou.
式序在位。He has regulated the positions of the princes;
載戢干戈、He has called in shields and spears;
載櫜弓矢。He has returned to their cases bows and arrows.
我求懿德、I will cultivate admirable virtue,
肆于時夏。And display it throughout these great regions:
允王保之。Truly will the king preserve the appointment.
