七、稽疑：	vii. 'Seventh, of the (means for the) examination of doubts.
擇建立卜筮人，	Officers having been chosen and appointed for divining by the tortoise-shell and the stalks of the Achillea,
乃命十筮。	they are to be charged (on occasion) to execute their duties.
曰雨，	(In doing this), they will find (the appearances of) rain,
曰霽，	of clearing up,
曰蒙，	of cloudiness,
曰驛，	of want of connexion,
曰克，	and of crossing;
曰貞，曰悔，	and the inner and outer diagrams.
凡七。	In all (the indications) are seven;
卜五，	--five given by the shell,
佔用二，	and two by the stalks;
衍忒。	and (by means) of these any errors (in the mind) may be traced out.
立時人作卜筮，	These officers having been appointed, when the divination is proceeded with,
三人占，	three men are to interpret the indications,
則從二人之言。	and the (consenting) words of two of them are to be followed.
汝則有大疑，	When you have doubts about any great matter,
謀及乃心，	consult with your own mind;
謀及卿士，	consult with your high ministers and officers;
謀及庶人，	consult with the common people;
謀及卜筮。	consult the tortoise-shell and divining stalks.
汝則從，龜從，筮從，卿士從，庶民從，	If you, the shell, the stalks, the ministers and officers, and the common people, all agree about a course,
是之謂大同。	this is what is called a great concord,
身其康彊，子孫其逢，	and the result will be the welfare of your person and good fortune to your descendants.
汝則從，龜從，筮從，	If you, the shell, and the stalks agree,
卿士逆，庶民逆吉。	while the ministers, and officers, and the common people oppose, the result will be fortunate.
卿士從，龜從，筮從，	If the ministers and officers, with the shell and stalks, agree,
汝則逆，庶民逆，	while you and the common people oppose,
吉。	the result will be fortunate.
庶民從，龜從，筮從，	If the common people, the shell, and the stalks agree,
