淮南節度使，唐朝在淮南道設立的節度使。至德元載（756年）設置，治所在揚州。管轄揚州、楚州、滁州、和州、廬州、壽州、舒州、光州、蘄州、安州、黃州、申州、沔州。十二月，安州、申州歸淮西節度使。759年，沔州歸鄂沔節度使，壽州、蘄州、黃州歸淮西節度使。760年，設淮南東道節度使。781年，增泗州，783年，壽州設團練使，784年，壽廬濠設都團練使，788年，壽廬濠泗歸徐泗濠節度使。799年，安州歸安黃道。800年，泗濠道，滁州、和州、廬州、舒州設團練使。807年，罷壽州，818年增光州，申州歸鄂沔節度使，821年，增宿州，833年，宿州歸武寧節度使。862年，增加濠州，863年，濠州歸徐泗節度使。870年，增泗州。
淮南節度使長期管轄揚州、楚州、滁州、和州、廬州、壽州、舒州。相當于江蘇省安徽省長江以北、淮河以南的地區。景福二年（892年）楊行密割據，天複二年（902年）楊行密為吳王，即五代十國的吳國。904年，滁州、廬州、和州、舒州設團練使，光州設防禦使。
