21  | 徐養相，字子存，睢州人。少工舉子業，研究經傳，解悟疑譌，復潛心性理，曰：「為學不宗濓洛，非學也」。嘉靖己酉，登鄉薦。丙辰成進士，筮仕餘姚，表章王氏之學，與多士朝夕講習，三年興起甚衆。陞兵部、車駕司主事。以守正不阿忤時相罷歸，遂以明道淑人為己任。日聚生徒，講解經書，性理逺近，從學者常數百人，駝岡錦水之間，比屋皆絃誦聲。平生事親極孝，治喪一遵古禮，不用浮屠，不讌弔客，縉紳家多取法焉。卒年七十六。所著有《四書說略》、《禮經輯覽》、《近恒文集，藏》於家事。詳湯斌《洛學編》。 |
| 25 | 皇清湯斌，字孔伯，號潛菴，睢州人。自少卓立，舉動尺寸，年十二，聴里中耆儒王慕祥講小學，侍坐，終日無倦容，退即見諸行事，慕祥竒之。年十六，就傅郭外，值流寇陷州城，斌母趙罵賊死，後避亂三衢，讀書山中，念母死節，益自刻苦，嘗中夜大哭，哭已復讀，山中人皆感動，亂定始北歸，順治戊子，舉於鄉，明年，㑹試中式，越三年壬辰，成進士，改庶吉士。鍵戶一室，惟與魏象樞、曹本榮以理道相切磋，乙未，簡翰林科道官出任監司，斌得陜西按察司副使，備兵潼闗，時闗中多盜，斌嚴行保甲，令民各設鉦鼓砲石逺近，以次傳警，盜發輒得，陞嶺北道參政，治所在贑、贑四省上游地，穹山深箐，大盜李玉廷窟穴其中，斌用計平之，贑人以安。後以父老乞歸，里居垂二十年，潛心性命之學，渡河執弟子禮於孫竒逢歸，而充養愈邃，屹然推中原巨儒，戊午，詔舉博學鴻儒，大臣交荐。 |
