孝宗敬皇帝實錄二百二十四卷正德元年十二月敕修，命少師劉健，李東陽，少傅謝遷總裁，吏部侍郎張元楨，詹事楊廷和，學士劉忠副之，未幾健，遷去位，再命少傅焦芳，王鏊，少保廷和同東陽總裁，而以尚書梁儲為副，至四年五月書成，時焦芳秉筆，褒貶任情，天下正人，皆肆詆誣，嘉靖二年御史盧瓊請改正不允。
