4  | 七年春正月，敕皇太子監國。惟文武除拜、四裔朝貢、邊境調發，上請行在，餘常務不必啟聞。仍命吏部尚書兼詹事蹇義、兵部尚書兼詹事金忠、左春坊大學士兼翰林侍讀黃淮、左諭德兼翰林侍講楊士奇輔導監國。諭義等曰：「居守事重。今文臣中留汝四人輔導監國，若唐太宗簡輔監國必付房玄齡等。汝宜識朕此意，敬恭無怠。」命學士胡廣，侍講楊榮、金幼孜及戶部尚書夏原吉等扈從。賜皇太子《聖學心法》。上出一書，示胡廣等曰：「朕因政暇，采聖賢之言，若執中建極之類，切于修齊治平者，今已成書，卿等試觀之。」廣等覽畢，奏曰：「帝王道德之要，備載此書。」遂名曰《聖學心法》，命司禮監刊行。 |
