59  | 四年春正月，總督漕運副都御史邵寶致仕。時公卿多出入瑾門，寶一無所通。瑾數以危言撼之，不為動。瑾惡平江伯。平江伯，漕帥也，事與寶相關。瑾怒，禍且不測。李東陽力解之，乃得致仕去。以山西提學副使王鴻儒為國子祭酒。鴻儒在山西有聲，劉大夏嘗對孝宗稱其大可用。吏部從人望舉之，尋以守正忤劉瑾，回籍。罷興化知府張嵿為民。嵿先任刑部郎中，時隆平侯張佑卒，無嗣，弟姪爭襲，賂瑾。瑾囑之，不為徇。正德三年，出守興化，瑾有所饋，不報。郡人戴大賓弱冠登第，瑾欲奪其舊聘，以弟女妻之。以囑嵿，亦拒不許。瑾怒，遂摭隆平侯奪爵事，誣罷歸家。 |
