70  | 張昺，字仲明，慈谿人。成化進士，授鉛山縣。性剛明，不惑神怪。有嫁女者及婿，門而失女，兩家互訟，官不能決。昺行邑界，見大樹妨稼，欲伐之，從者言樹有神不可伐，昺不聽。有衣冠三人拜道左，昺叱之，忽不見。比運斤血注，昺怒，手斧之，卒仆其樹。巢中堕二婦人，言狂風吹至樓上，與三少年俱其一，即前所嫁女也。有巫能隠形滛人婦女，昺執而印其背，鞭之，立死。乃盡毁滛。祠寡婦惟一子為虎所噬，少年欲難昺代婦書牒，請拘虎抵罪。昺與婦期五日，乃齋戒祀城隍神，約繫虎至。及期，二虎果伏庭下，叱曰：「食吾民，法當死，無罪者免」。一虎起，斂尾去。一虎伏不動，昺射殺之，以畀寡婦。一縣稱神君。鉛山俗婦人夫死輙嫁，有病未死，先受聘供湯藥者，昺欲變其俗，令寡婦皆具牒受判，署二木，曰羞願」，嫁者跪之，曰「節，願」守者跪之。民傅四妻祝不欲嫁舅，姑紿令跪羞木下，昺判從之，祝投池中死，邑大旱。昺意有寃獄，齋宿神祠，夢婦人泣拜，覺而識其里居姓氏，得詰其狀，及啟土面如生。昺哭之曰：「殺婦者吾也」。為文以祭天，遂大雨。乃罪其舅姑改𦵏焉。諸異政多類此。擢南京御史，累官至四川副使，引疾歸。 |
