韓琦字稚圭。弱冠舉進士，方唱名，太史奏日下五色雲見。嘉討校拜平章事。時曾公亮為亞相，趙概、歐公參政。凡事關政令，則曰：「問集賢。」典故，則曰：「問東廳。」文學，則曰：「問西廳。」至大事則自決。宋時，凡於所畏尊官則呼厥姓，曰某家，石曼卿每呼韓琦家為韓家云。
