63  | 「二，吾猶不足，如之何其徹也？」有若曰：「百姓足，君孰與不足？百姓不足，君孰與足二，謂己收公田之租，又履私田之畝，十取其一？」公又問於孔子，孔子曰：「薄賦斂，則人富。」公曰：「若是，寡人貧矣。」對曰：「豈弟君子，人之父母。未見子富而父貧也。」 |
| 106 | 石林葉氏曰：「世多言耕用牛始漢趙過，以為《易》『服牛乘馬，引重致遠』，牛馬之用蓋同，初不以耕也。故華山、桃林之事，武王以休兵並言，而《周官》，凡農政無有及牛者。此理未必然。孔子弟子冉伯牛、司馬牛皆名『耕』，若非用於耕，則何取於牛乎？《漢書·趙過傳》但云：『畝五頃用耦耕，二牛三人。其後民或苦少牛，平都令光乃教過以人挽犁。』由是言之，蓋古耕而不犁，後世變為犁法。耦用人，犁用牛，過特為之增損其數耳，非用牛自過始也。耦與犁皆耕事，故通言之。孔子言『犁牛之子も且角』，則孔子時固己用犁，此二氏所以為字也。」 |
