1  | 明周怡撰。怡字順之，號都峰，改號訥溪，太平人。嘉靖戊戌進士。授順德府推官，擢吏科給事中。以疏劾嚴嵩廷杖，下錦衣獄。三年，世宗感乩仙之言，得與楊爵、劉魁同出獄。未幾，以熊浹劾乩仙誣妄激世宗怒，複逮入獄。又二年，始得釋。隆慶初，召為太常寺少卿，又上疏忤中官，外調山東按察使僉事。稍遷司業，仍為太常寺少卿以卒。蓋其平生觸犯權幸，至再至三，困踣顛連，僅存一息，而其志百折不改，勁直忠亮，卓然為一代完人。是集為其弟恪所編，許穀為之序。凡吏科奏疏十一篇，太常奏疏二篇。雖卷帙無多，而生氣凜然，猶足以見其梗概也。卷末《乞休》一疏，注曰「李石麓相公不允上」。李石麓者，大學士李春芳號也。蓋怡放廢以後，不欲再出，而春芳以穆宗新政，欲獎用直臣，故格之不使上達。然怡訖不得大用，殆亦郭公之善善歟。 |
