6  | 仍敕有司，凡有表奏，皆不得以聞。是日，上遜位於大唐，以為酅國公。武德二年夏五月崩，時年十五。 |
| 9 | 大唐武德五年，克平偽鄭，盡收其圖書及古迹焉。命司農少卿宋遵貴載之以船，泝河西上，將致京師。行經底柱，多被漂沒，其所存者，十不一二。其《目錄》亦為所漸濡，時有殘缺。今考見存，分為四部，合條為一萬四千四百六十六部，有八萬九千六百六十六卷。其舊錄所取，文義淺俗、無益教理者，並刪去之。其舊錄所遺，辭義可采，有所弘益者，咸附入之。遠覽馬史、班書，近觀王、阮志、錄，挹其風流體制，削其浮雜鄙俚，離其疏遠，合其近密，約文緒義，凡五十五篇，各列本條之下，以備《經籍志》。雖未能研幾探賾，窮極幽隱，庶乎弘道設教，可以無遺闕焉。夫仁義禮智，所以治國也，方技數術，所以治身也；諸子為經籍之鼓吹，文章乃政化之黼黻，皆為治之具也。故列之於此志云。 |
