131  | 于覺世，字赤山，新城人。順治己亥進士，授歸徳府推官，以裁缺改知巢縣。縣帶山瀕湖，號稱難治，覺世為政寛簡，間以嚴劑之。俗好巫，尚鬼覺，世捕其首奸，風俗乃改。庚戌，江北饑，巢邑尤甚，覺世捐俸錢，購米以食饑者，全活數萬人。癸丑，滇逆發難，有巨冦宋某起安廬間，衆數千人，攻剽郡邑，將據焦湖以應之，揚帆自大江東下，覺世知之，設伏于南門浮橋，身率甲士邀擊之，殲其巨魁，安、廬之盜遂絶。後以禮部郎中視學廣東，其教士先徳行而後文藝，士翕然化之。三年，報最，擢布政司叅議致仕歸，奉繼母甚謹，郷黨稱其孝焉。 |
