| 27 | 延陵季子墓字世傳仲尼書，今入《淳化官帖》中。其字如書簡牘，不類豐碑石柱上所刻也。書亦少異於籀文，疑當吳季子時書文宜盡從籀，又夫子未嘗至吴，其書是非不可攷也。唐人刻此十字，籀字極大，不知一書而傳於世者，大小不同，何哉？《張燕公謝碑額表》云：「孔篆吴札之墳，秦存展季之壠」。言孔子篆者始見於此延陵季子十字碑》人，謂孔子書其文曰：「嗚呼，有吳延陵君子之墓」。按古法帖止云：嗚呼，有吳君子而已。篆法敦古可信。今此碑妄増延陵之墓」四字，除「之」字外三字，是漢人方篆不與前六字合。又且音君子字作季子，漢器蜀郡洗郡字半爿，正與此碑君字同，蓋用此法也。以季字音君字顯見其謬。比干墓有漢人篆碑，亦有此說，洪氏《隸釋》及《漢隸字源》辨之甚明矣京口有十字碑，世傳為孔子書曰：「嗚呼有吳延陵季子之墓，而季字作蜀。予攷篆文皆無之，得曾敀元豐中編《潤州類集》乃曰：君子之墓後，湖居士李仲殊《題季子廟詩，亦曰溪邊君子墓，始悟為君字，非季字也。六一先生謂古以竹簡書今字濶盈尺，必非孔子作。然古法帖有魯司㓂仲尼書僅十有三字，內有有吳君子之五字，與此碑字畫如一。或者後人衍此題墓上，要知夫子蓋嘗為是書爾。 |
