8  | 康僖王平川先生承裕王承裕，字天宇，號平川，冢宰之季子也。𢎞治癸丑進士，授兵科給事中，遷吏掌科逆。瑾恨其逺己，又疏進君子退，小人益恨之，罰粟輸邊，以外艱去。瑾誅，起原官。歴太僕少卿、正卿、南太常卿。宸濠反，發留都之，為內應者。嘉靖初，遷戶部右侍郎、晉南户部尚書致仕。林居十年，戊戌五月卒，年七十四，諡康僖。十四五時，從莆田蕭某學，蕭令侍立，三日一無所授。先生歸告端毅曰：「蕭先生待某如此，豈以某為不足敎耶？」端毅曰：「是即敎也，真汝師矣」。登第後，侍端毅，歸，講學於𢎞道書院。弟子至不能容冠婚，䘮祭必率禮而行。三原士風，民俗為之一變。馮少墟以為先生之學皆本之家庭者也。 |
