12  | 景和元年誅群公，欲引進顗，任以朝政，遷為吏部尚書，封新淦縣子。俄而意趣乖異，寵待頓衰，始令顗與沉慶之、徐爰參知選事；尋復反以為罪，使有司糾奏，坐白衣領職。從幸湖熟，往反數日不被命，顗慮禍求出，乃除建安王休仁安西長史。休仁不行，即以顗為領寧蠻校尉、雍州刺史，加都督。顗舅蔡興宗謂曰：「襄陽星惡，豈可冒邪？」顗曰：「白刃交前，不救流矢。今日之行，本願生出彪口。且天道遼遠，何必皆驗？如其有征，當修德以禳之。」於是狼狽上路，恆慮見追。後至尋陽，曰：「今知免矣。」與鄧琬款狎過常，每清閑必盡日窮夜。顗與琬人地本殊，眾知其有異志矣。 |
